Difficulty signing into PC-based webshops using VPC6.1-Windows XP

Hi
I am having alot of difficulty attending PC-based webshops using VPC
6.1-Windows XP Home. I have a G4 Powerbook with 512 Ram. Each time Windows
just quits in the middle of the Webshop giving a message saying that new
driver devices installed are interfering with Windows and suggests that
newly-installed hardware or possibly software is the cause. I haven't
installed any hardware but I have downloaded software from my work (hospital)
so that I can dial into their Network. I also installed a CD from an
investment company where I can access immediate NYSE information. Could
either of these be reponsible for the driver devices? Any help is welcome !
I also find that, when it does work, VPC-Wind XP Home is really slow with
Webshops and the slides lag about 30sec behind audio. Have you found this
Whats the best software to use for PC-based Webshops? Would upgrading to
VPC 7 or using Windows XP Pro help?
Any suggestions ARE appreciated
