IE doesn"t open

Source: microsoft.public.mac.virtualpc

Message:

Thought I had this VPC figured out and working, but now when the VPC desktop
opens and I try and open Internet Explorer, nothing happens. I double click
and see the little hourglass for a few seconds and then nothing. The little
hard disk symbol at the bottom blinks a couple times, but then just sits
there. I've reset a couple times and nothing changes...desktop opens,
double click IE...nothing. I did get a strange message when resetting:

The Virtual Machine additions in the PC "Windows XP Professional" are
obsolete. When Windows has completed starting up and you can see the
Windows desktop, choose 'Install or Update Additions' from the PC menu.
Virtual Machine Additions add Faster Video, Drag & Drop, Folder Sharing, and
Integrated Mouse support to Windows.

I hit the continue button on this message, and then tried doing the above,
install or update additions from the PC menu, and again nothing happens.
Seems extremely complicated, plus how do you know when anything is happening
in the VPC world...the little blinking dot by the hard disk icon?
