MFC - 9700 won"t print

I can't print from my virtual pc 7 to my MFC - 9700 on my PowerBook G4.

When I attempt to print from the VPC7 the print manager just hangs up
and nothing prints, whether from the VPC7 or the Mac. When I delete the
VPC7 print job the Mac print jobs print just fine.

This happens when I have a "specific printer selected" and when the
"default printer" is selected in the printer settings of the PC
preferance window.

Please help me.

How is the printer connected to the Mac and what printer drivers are
you using? If your printer is connected via USB and your using VM
additions printing repairing the disk permissions on the Mac may allow
the job to go through.
