iMac G5 1.6 Ghz w/ Combo Drive cannot read Installation CD 2

I have a copy of Virtual PC 7 w/ Windows XP Home on CD, and installing
it on a iMac G5 1.6 Ghz w/ Combo Drive doesn't work because my computer
cannot read CD 2. I've tried several iMac G5s running at 1.6 Ghz at my
workplace and find that CD 2 just spins and spins and eventually the
computer just spits it out. It has no problem reading CD 1 though.
iMac G5s running at 2.0 Ghz and iSight G5s read the discs just fine, as
do some older G4 iMacs. But the one model that this program needs to
go on does not work.

Is there anyone else who has seen this issue?

By 'CD 2', are you referring to the second blue CD? Some people get the
white CD confused with CD 2. If it is the blue CD, in the VPC menu bar,
click on Drives and select Capture Disc

Clearly it's a dud disk if it's been tried in several machines.

The install CD 2 is not a PC readable disk, it's in an OSX native format and
is read by the VPC installation routine, not the Virtual Machine itself.

You need to return your product for a replacement, or else contact Microsoft
Technical Support and see if they will send you a new disk.
