What does VirtualPC think it"s hard drive serial number is?

Wondering if anyone can point me to a program or setting that will show
what VPC claims as it's hard drive serial number. Not the Hard Drive
Volume Number, which can be changed.

For example, to find it on a regular windows PC, this program will show
it:

http://www.codeproject.com/csharp/hard_disk_serialNo.asp

but it won't run on VPC. The only places I can think to look within
VPC appear to say that the name of the HD is "Virtual HD".

Anyone?

Thanks for taking the time to reply and give the code...I really
appreciate it.

I ran it as shown a couple times, but it didn't seem to like the "_"
's. I reformatted to what I have listed below. That ran, but gave no
output. I'm running this on Windows XP Pro, in Virtual PC.

in WMI. My Parallels VM has a serial number but a different physical
host I use does not. The script I gave you is the equivalent of the ASP
link you posted. If you hosted it in IIS in VPC you should see the same
results.
