How to activate a duplicated virtual machine?

I copied a working virtual machine in VPC6, and then pasted it into the
"Virtual PC List" folder in a new user account on my Mac (which uses the
same VPC6 app).

However, the new virtual machine (i.e. the pasted-in virtual machine) is not
showing up in the window that appears under "Window/Virtual PC List". That
window is empty.

What do I need to do to get the new virtual machine running?
