Thank u for your answer. I,ve tried what you said but it was still
impossible. Then i´ve found this article from microsoft :
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/886379 . In that is said that virtual PC
can have problems wirth third party firewalls. I use netbarrier, but in the
options i have Vich as a trust programs, that is , can connect to any port.
Then, after reading that, i gave a try and disconnected netbarrier, and now
i have connection into VPC.
So it means that every time i like to connect vpc to the web, i have to
change my security settings. I hope i can found one better solution,
netbarrier is a very good program and i will not stop using it.

I ran into something like this just the other day too only I'm
using XP Home under VPC 7.0.2. It seems that it just couldn't
find the DNS (an absolute IP address worked). If I started up
Internet Explorer, it couldn't even find msn.com (pretty bad eh? :-)

I discovered that if I went over to the Mac side of things and
ran something on the web (I used Netscape) first, then somehow
access from VPC now worked!

I have no idea of why this happens, but you might want to try
it--I.e., start a browser on the Mac, try accessing a site, and
then try it from in VPC.
