I have had Virtual PC for Mac running on my PowerMac G5 for a while now, and
all seems to be well, except downloading from the internet, while in Windows
XP, running on Virtual PC for Mac. I can access the internet just fine, and
even upload registration, and other information, but when I want to
download something, for example, an update for TaxCut software, but it won¹t
receive the download. I¹m not sure if it actually gets downloaded or not,
but it won¹t recognize that it did. I also tried to update Windows XP, but
with the same result. Is this a common problem, or can I do something that
will correct this problem? I am going to run a professional Tax program
next year that is not available for the Mac, but downloading updates,
e-file info, and other items is essential. If there is going to be a
problem, I need to purchase a PC to carry out my new Tax business next year.
Thank you for your help in this matter. Dave Barton
