Quicken for Windows vs Mac

Spent some time in the Intuit booth last week at MacWorld. Asked about
when they will have the ability to "easily" move files between the
Windows and Mac versions of Quicken (like they can do with Turbotax or
how a MS Word file is a Word file and OS independent). They're working
on it and it's a year to 18 months out. Looks like I'm stuck with VPC
(the only thing I use it for is Quicken) for another year to year and
half.

ACtually I just purchased Quicken for MAC 06 and was able to move most
data over. I did encounter some complications, but if you limit your
data to just one years worth and make sure you don't have any account
names that are too long, it was pretty painlus to move my data from
Quicken basic for Windows 05 to Quicken for MAC 06.
