I have Googled. I have read the posts and tried the remedies, but I
still cannot Internet Explorer to connect any more. I know I have a
connection because apparently Windows update did something that
required a restart (what a helpful OS!). However neither IE5 (in Win98)
or whatever comes with XP (IE6?) manages a connection. I am on an
"always on" broadband connection via a wireless connection to airport.
This has always worked in the past. Now it doesn't.

Any ideas?
