Connecting to VPC 2007 trought Remote Desktop Connection

Hello. I have a small home network connected like this:

Computer A - Wired Connection to a router
Laptop B - Wireless Connection from router
Virtual Machine C - Running on Laptop B

VM C has internet connection trough network adapter Broadcom 802.11b/g WLan
and I have checked "Enable Remote Desktop on this computer" in System
Properties > Remote tab. I can access internet in the VM C.
I want to access to VM C from Computer A trough Remote Desktop Connection
but it cannot communicate with it. I cannot ping it also from Computer A.
I would like to know what is the possible explanation to this since I'm not
using NAT (ipconfig -> 192.168.2.10).

Thank you. I had tried before to put remote desktop connection as exception
with firewall on but it didn't work. After your post I disabled the firewall
and I could ping and connect to it. After some changes in the Advanced tab I
figured it out I could allow remote desktop and leave firewall on.

Adding extra NIC's to the hots machine will help with the delays. Use the
extra nic to connect to the virtual nic on the virtual machine. This will
isolate the traffic and probably help your delay issue
