No virtual environment for 64bit development with DirectX

So Virtual PC does not support 64bit guests and VMWare does not support
DirectX.

This means that for 64bit graphics development, there is NO virtual
environment available. This is crazy considering that we are only 8 months
away from the release of Windows 7 and that Windows XP and Vista have a 64bit
verson.

What is the problem here? Is Microsoft unable to do 64bit virtualization?
Apparently so because there is NO sign that anything is happening here.

It is time for the user community to demand this. We have been encouraged to
more to virtual environments and we expect the tools providers to offer them.

Microsoft - I am willing to pay for 64bit Virtual PC (i.e. 64bit Guest on a
64bit host) but I need it quickly!
