I found this (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/835356/en-us) knowledge
base article regarding multiple virtual PCs being unable to access a
single physical serial or parallel port on the host machine under MS
VPC 2004, but I can't find any documentation as to whether or not this
is still the case in MS VPC 2007.

Can anyone offer any input or links to information on this? It would
be nice if this were possible and I was figuring maybe the VPC
application had access to the port and the guest machines talked to
the port via that application's I/O. I searched
