Can"t re/uninstall Virtual PC 2007

I've tried installing Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 on my laptop, but had
to cancel it because it was stuck for 20 min. right before completion.
Then I've waited for it to cancel, and after another 10 min. I've
simply ended the task from the task manager.
When I double-clicked the installation file again, I couldn't install
the program because apparently I needed to "uninstall it first". The
thing is - it doesn't appear in appwiz.cpl (Programs and Features),
and it's not in the start menu. No uninstallation file could be found
on the hard disk, however, a directory was created in Program Files
and it even runs. Well, seemingly. I have, after all, never let it
finish the installation process properly.
So, I can't reinstall it, can't uninstall it - what am I suupoed to do
now??

I'm running Vista Ent. with SP1.

Technically VPC 2007 does not support Vista SP1 host as of now. so you
would need to hang around till that is fixed.
