I figured out how to get Direct 3d working

I managed to do it on win98 se

What you have to do is right click on desktop and choose "properties".

Then go to to the tab that says "settings"

then click on button that says "advanced" beneath the resolution slider.

after that, go to tab that says "performance".

then move hardware acceleration slider to the left until it says beneath it:

"Basic acceleration functions: Use this setting to correct more severe
problems, such as unexpected errors in programs."

Then it should work.

But, Direct 3D will only work once per session, which means if you close the
game or whatever then you must restart the virtual machine.

The only game i tested it with is Doom 2
