mapping a drive permissions

Message:

hey all,
i'm doing the same thing on 2 computers and getting 2 different results and
was hoping someone could please explain.

i have a vista guest pc that i'm trying to install an application on by
mapping to a network drive and there's no problem on either computer.
However, when i run the setup program is where i have the issue.

on one computer, the setup starts to run, gives me a couple of confirm
messages and then i get a network login window, i login and then the setup
continues fine.

on the other computer, the setup starts, gives me a couple of confirm
messages but then i get the following error which does not allow me to
proceed with the install:

[Window Title]
Z:\setup.exe

[Content]
Z:\setup.exe

Logon failure: user account restriction. Possible reasons are blank
passwords not allowed, logon hour restrictions, or a policy restriction has
been enforced.

[OK]

any ideas?

thanks,
rodchar
