Ethernet performance?

Hi

I have converted a PC (WinXP Pro SP2) i have to a VPC image.
Everything works fine except, that the ethernet performance seems a
bit slow.
I have installed VPC additions, selected an network adapter for my VPC
machine. The network works fine. I can surf, ping etc.
But on the VPC image I have a program I use to download and debug
WindowsCE devices (Platform builder)

When I download over ethernet from the VPC I get about half the speed
(500 kB/s) I get form the real PC (1000 kB/s). Is this decrease in
speed normal for VPC's??

allso, the debugging is very slow. I do not know if that has something
todo with the poor ethernet performance or the sonme VPC
incompatiblity?

The original PC was a HT P4. Could it be WInXP settings running in the
VPC ?

Any idea what could be wrong?? Where to tweek ?

Im using VirtualPC 6.0.156.0

There is no speed problems on the original PC..

You could try reinstalling the VM Additions, but I don't think they put in

What is slow with debugging, can you be more specific? What is the hardware
you're running VPC on?
