Unable to uninstall Virtual PC

Hi all!

I could really use your help now, this has been stealing too much of my time
already, and I bet there's a simple solution.

The problem is that I am unable to uninstall Virtual PC 2007. I use Vista
Premium. VPC does not show in "Add / Remove Programs" list. The command
"setup.exe /x" does not work and I am unable to reinstall VPC because the
installer states I need the remove the old one first.

I have tried to find installer information for Virtual PC in the registry at
the following location:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products", but there is no entry pertaining to Virtual PC there.

Do you have any suggestions? Thank you very much in advance.

I had the same problem.
Mine showed up in both win install and control panel, but would not unistall.
The reason I needed to unistall was I added the wrong apps when I installed
win98.
Our problem is using home premium, I think.

My fix .which i saw somewhere on the net. Was to delete all the vhd vcm file
first.
Then call up vpc console and try to unistall and restart the host.
But if you can't see it to uninstall it Don't know.

Your suggestion is similar to uninstalling Microsoft Office because
you wrote a Word document with offending contents....
