Networking with VPC2007 on 64-bit Vista

Message:

Hello,

I've been using VPC 2007 on Windows XP Pro 32-bit and have several virtual
machines built on that platform.

I've recently purchased a 64-bit machine on which I have installed 64-bit
Vista Business Edition. I downloaded the 64-bit version of VPC 2007 and
installed that, but it doesn't seem to be a 64-bit app...

Anyway, I thought I should be able to copy my existing virtual machines from
32-bit WinXPPro onto 64-bit Vista Business.

When I tried, they booted up OK, but had no networking connectivity. The
virtual NIC said it had limited or no connectivity.

I created a new virtual machine on Vista and pointed it at one of the
existing virtual hard disks, but that didn't help.

Then I created a brand new virtual machine on Vista and installed XP on
that, but that couldn't see the network either.

Is there something different with 64-bit Vista with respect to networking?

Thanks,

DJ
