Issue with VPC Booting after PXE install

I configured a Windows XP Virtual Machine using VPC 2007 via a PXE install.
After the OS was installed, however, the machine stalls on "boot" after the
Windows startup selection screen. I tried booting in safe mode as well as
normally and still it would just sit at the selection screen. Could this have
somthing to do with the way that the image file is configured to run post PXE
boot? (setup computer name and domain)

It sounds more like a driver issue with your image. Remember that a
Virtual Machine only emulates certain hardware and it's not the same
as the host PC.
