H I've install Ubuntu in VPC 2007 and my sound card isn't enabled with Ubntu
for some reason does anyone know how to enable it/make it work?

It's ok I figured it out the sound is disabled by default in newer kernels to
orevent crashes during install. I have written a guide to show how to turn it
back on at www.aotk50.dsl.pipex.com/default.hm if anyones interested.
