Yes, I have gotten it to work.

My config: home made PC . Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 mobo, e6400 Core 2, 2GB
mem, Vista Ultimate.

VM config, 512MB/16GB

Installed fine from DVD ( >2GB)

Issues:

System installed with no problem. Initial boot brought up horribly
illegible java screen. I opted for command line interface and was able to
use suggestions from http://vpc.visualwin.com/Notes/Solaris.10.3.5.html.

Only problem now is that whole thing crashes when I do certain things within
Sun Studio. Can't find any way around it. I'm currently trying to install
the other Solaris Express Developers edition in another VM but so far that
crashed setting up the java environment before I even get a crack at it. I
suppose I'll have to forgo the interactive part in some fashion.

I've narrowed the debuging problem. It's not Sun Studio itself, but the
underlying dbx. If I start an interactive program in one terminal window,
then bring up dbx in another, issue the 'next' command, and then hit enter on
the application window, the whole virtual Solaris machine locks up. It won't
even answer a ping from the outside anymore.

Does anyone have any clue as to why this might be happening or what I could
do to circumvent it?
