Virtual PC 2007 XP Pro Memory Problem

Source: microsoft.public.virtualpc
Sent: 03/21/2007
From: Ed
Message:

I have installed VPC 2K7 on Windows Vista Ultimate host w 2GB Ram.
I created a Windows XP Pro Virtual Machine and allocated 512M Ram to the VM.
I was able to successfully install WinXP and get the VM running. My problem
surfaced when attempting to install SP2 and updates. Further investigation
revealedl on 64.00MB Total Physical Memory, 404.69MB Available Physical
Memory when viewing the system information. It is as the VM only thinks
there is 64Meg Ram for the workstation. This is my first attempt at building
a VM using the MS product.

What is wrong here and how do I correct it?

Any help would be appreciated

btw.
The same VM displays the proper ram configuration when imported into VMWare
Player so I dont think the problem is with the XP installation.
