Can you explain in more details how that can be done? I am not fluent in
networks....

First of all you have to activate the "dongle" (which I assume is a
short word for a network interface card) on the host.
Open the network connections display on the folder ans select
properties from the wireless dongle item on the list.
Then scroll in the list on the General tab until you see the item
"Virtual Machine Network Services". Make sure the checkbox in front of
it is checked.
Then close the dialogue with the OK button.
Next open the VPC2007 console and select the item for your virtual
machine.
Click the settings button (with the guest in the shut down state).
Then select the "Networking" item on the left and now make sure that
the Adapter1 box is set to the name of your "dongle" adapter.
OK out.
Now you can start the guest and check the networking inside.
If your *host* is connected to the network and if it has acquired an
IP address by DHCP then also your guest should now be able to do so
provided your wireless router is DHCP enabled.

Extra suggestions:
If your laptop uses a wireless adapter for access "on the road" but a
wired Ethernet when stationary then youy can configure the VPC guest
with 2 network cards and set one to point to the wired and the other
to the wireless card on the host. This way you will get a connection
to the guest no matter how the host is connected.

Message: The emulated NIC in a virtual machine is not a wireless NIC. The virtual
machine cannot see the actual NIC on the host machine.
The best solution is to set up some sort of connection sharing so that
the guest can share the host's connection.

Message: There are a number of problems which arise with networking if the host
machine is using a wireless network card. If you can't get it to work, try
sharing the host's connection to the guest using the Microsoft Loopback
Adapter and ICS on the host.
