VPC 2007 window no longer captures mouse pointer

Hi,

I've installed Linux in MS VPC 2007 and everything worked fine for a
while until I changed the guest screen resolution from 800x600 to
1024x768. Now, the mouse isn't captured by the guest anymore!

If I click the screen, nothing happens and the guest pointer just sits
there. I can drag across the guest window and even copy the selected
part and paste them in a host machine application - so I know that VPC
is seeing the mouse. I just can't have the guest capture the mouse
anymore.

The keyboard works fine and since it's Linux, Virtual Machine
Additions isn't installed.

Thanks in advance for the help!
