Hi

I have a question, I have a new computer that came with reacovery DVDs for
windows vista home premium, but I installed windows xp pro because I have
alot of old software I want to use, now Can I creat a virtul machine with
VPC 2007 and use the recovery DVDs as if I am booting the computer to recover
it. Please note that the recovery put the computer as it came from the
factory.

different set of hardware than your physical computer. If the
Recovery DVD doesn't have some kind of BIOS or other hardware checker
to verify that it's being installed on the correct machine, then the
huge differences in the physical and emulated hardware will prevent it
from working correctly.
