I use Windows Media Player 11 on my laptop for all of my music. I ran out of
space on my laptop hard drive so I bought an external harddrive to store all
of my music on. WMP11 on my laptop works just fine playing all of my music
that is stored in a folder on this harddrive. I wanted to be able to take
just my harddrive with me and still have WMP11 on it, so I installed Virtual
PC on this same external harddrive. After sharing the music folder(which is
on the same harddrive as VPC 2007) and installing WMP11 on VPC, WMP11 wont
add or play these mp3's. I can access the "networked music folder" but when I
click on them they wont play. I installed Winamp just to see if it was my VPC
settings, but it works just fine. I would really rather like to use WMP11 on
my VPC so any help on how to set this up would be great.
