Unable to install VMNS Driver

Hi All,

On both the wired and wireless LAN connections on my Win XP box, i am unable
to install the VMNS driver. The driver failed to install after re-installing
VPC 2007, and if you install it manually via "network connections\local area
connection\properties\" and then add the VMNS service - you get an error
"Could not add the required component : the error is the I/O operation has
been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request"

I have re-installed VPC 2007, tried rebooting between installations etc.
Both LAN connections are working fine otherwise.

Any advice would be appreciated ...
