Keyboard start delay

I am running VPC 2007 (6.0.156.0) with hardware virtualization on (happened
on an older machine also) where, which I switch from my host to the VPC, I
get a delay of up to 5 seconds before any keyboard entry will work within the
virtual image.

Hardware:
Dell Optiplex 745
Intel Core2Duo 6400
2GB Memory

This did not happen with VPC2004, however, I also didn't get hardware
virtualization. Any ideas why it would be delayed.

BTW, I was a beta tester, and reported this, and it was marked as fixed, but
still happens.

Yes. I started without hardware virtualization, it happened. I got a new
machine that supported it, and it still happens.
