VPC as admin fine, but not other

Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help. I have Google'd for an answer and come
dangerously close to finding one, but no luck yet!

I installed VPS 2004 as Administrator, and then the vmc file I have to
work from. I have 2gb RAM, so everything works fine.

I then tried to log into the same machine as another user, start VPC,
go to load the same vmc but get the " in use by another or marked as
read only " error.

Now, I logged out and back in as Admin, and the VPC there which works
isn't in use, and isn't marked as read only.

I know it's almost certainly something very basic I'm doing wrong, but
can someone please shed some light on what it is!!

Many thanks in advance.
