In my Virtual WIN2000 machine all keys are functionally well like special
germn characters äöü.
Except the BACKSLASH !!!!

The backslash is not available via ALT-GR Backslash .

You have to change the VPC "host key" from Right-Alt, which is the

If you do this then you free up Right-Alt to its European usage as
Alt-Gr and you can get the umlauted characters again.
