Multiple COM ports

Source: microsoft.public.virtualpc

Message:

Here is my situation:

I have two P166 32MB machines running OS/2 2.11 with 8 COM ports in each,
running a commercial software app. I have OS/2 installed and the app running
in two VPC's without a hitch. I just can not figure out how to increase the
number of Host COM ports available to the guest OS in VPC 2004.

In VPC 5.2 with a simple registry edit you could expose up to 256 host
serial ports.

I've hunted through the registry and tried editing the .vmc file to no avail.

If someone could point me in the right direction I would be most grateful.

Gary
