I have Windows Vista RC1 and i install Virtual pc 2007, when i try to create
a new virtual machine in default harware selection for RAM is 128, then and
the next step
Recommended RAM:[0] and i cant change that recomendation, so what happend?
what can i do?, it is a problem with some parameter or bugs and the
operating system vista? Please help me.

RAM is 0? I haven't been able to recreate the problem here to see with it
is.

For instance, what's the host OS, the guest OS you are trying to install,
and all the steps you take in the new virtual machine wizard.

1. In virtual PC Console, I select "New"
2. In the New virtual Machine Wizard, I select "Create a virtual machine"
3. I wrote a virtual Machine me and location (in my virtual machines folder)
4. In the Operanting System, I select the guest Ã¤ny operanting system, and
in this moment the system show default hardware selection, for example:

Windows NT Worksstation (RAM 64 MB, Virtual Disk 8.192 MB, sound sound
blaster compatible
Windows XP (RAM 128, Virtual Disk 65.536, sound sound Blaster 16 compatible)
OS/2 (RAM 64 MB, Virtual Disk 2.048 MB, sound sound Blaster 16 compatible)
Windows Vista (RAM 512, Virtual Disk 65.536 MB, sound vista sound compatible)
and the same for the others.

5. I select 'Next'

6. Now in the New virtual machine wizard show me Memory, to improve the
perfomance of this ......... use therecommened RAM allocation.

this is for any guest

Recommended RAM: [0 MB]

and i can select Using the recomnded RAM (default) or Adjusting the RAM ,
but i cant change that value because the slide is from 0MB to OMB

7. If i continue, the next, is virtual hard disk options "A new virtual Hard
Disk"

8. i wrote the name and location for the Virtual hard Disk Location and the
virtual hard disk size
9. Completing the new virtual machine wizard

name: New Virtual machine
M 0 MB
Virtual Hard disk ---------.vhd

and then finish

I don't have any RC1's going anymore and I haven't been able to duplicate
the problem in another OS yet. I know you're not the only one who's had
this problem.

You should probably turn in a bug on connect about the problem.

If you have a Vista host with 512MB, you can't create a VM and have any RAM
since Vista requires 512MB. This is why you'll get the message that you have
0 ram to assign to your VM.
