To The Great VPC Guru,

First off, a great big Thank You for providing a link in your blog to
the Trio Video Drivers for VPC. I tried and tried to find them, but
they were nowhere to be had. I was finally to tidy up that part of my
WFWG 3.11 VPC.

You mentioned in the same blog, IIRC, that you installed the Sound
Blaster V1 audio driver, to get the sound system up and running. I
stopped into the Creative site and downloaded, what I thought, were
compatible drivers for the SB16 VPC audio card. They installed, but
when I start my WFWG VPC, when the Creative Plug and Play configuration
Manager V1.08 fires up, I get the following error msgs:

ERROR: Bad Resource Data Checksum (VendorID 0) Expected=77 Actual=0
ERROR: Bad Resource Data Checksum (VendorID 0) Expected=42 Actual=0
ERROR: Bad Resource Data Checksum (VendorID 0) Expected=77 Actual=0
ERROR: Bad Resource Data Checksum (VendorID b00341d0) Expected=77 Actual=0
ERROR: Bad Resource Data Checksum (VendoriD b02f41d0) Expected=42 Actual=0

Since the sound system is non functional, I have to assume that I have
downloaded, and installed, the wrong driver. What I would like to find
out is where did you get these drivers? This would be the last item I
need to get this part of my WFWG VPC purring.

Mucho TIA

Rick
