2)
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition Service Pack1

All developers in my company work only servers (with the same configuration)

I need to run VPC (or really virtual hard drives *.vhd) on all PCs

What is the most easy way to accomplish this (VPC2004 canâ€™t be installed on
servers)

How it would be possible to install SP to VPC 2004 on W2003 SE if VPC 2004
can't be installed in first place?

Though it is just a diversion from my need since all OSes installed around
me are Enterprise Editions of W2003.

I am trainer and wanted to give a MS course (installed in VPC) to my
colleagues.
I am not supposed to bury me in many-hours installations or understanding
sysadmin tasks
(my primary responsibilities are developerâ€™s one, not sysadmin or trainer)

Really x64 edition installation fatally failed but x86 one showed just the
warning (not fatal one as with x64) that OS is not supported (with the same
body of warning but the titles were different) but successfully proceeded to
finish after forcing

As I mentioned in my reply, VPC 2004 can be installed on Windows Server
2003 x86. It can't be installed on x64.

It will install on this version.

Given the Fatal Error above, my guess is that the above is from your
attempt to install on the x64 version. You'll get a similar error when
installing on the x86 version however, the install will continue after
the message about installing on an unsupported OS. There's a difference
between supported and works or doesn't work.

It can be installed.

I don't see what the above has to do with anything. VPC 2004 will
install on Windows Server 2003 Standard or Enterprise x86. It won't
install on x64. Supported on Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition means
that if you have trouble you'll be able to get support from Microsoft's
product support. It doesn't mean that it won't work on Enterprise
Edition.

As an additional clarification, "supported" and "runs" have different
meanings. Supported means supported by Microsoft Product Support Services
and has nothing to do with whether or not the software will run.
