VPC2004 and NT4 - Installation does not work

Message:

Hi there,
Tried to install NT4 but I always fail when the licence agreement is to be
confirmed by using F8.
I can press F8 and then the Screen gets a kind of transparent. The
"Transparency mode" ends when I cklick somewhere on the screnn or after
having pressed the ESC-key for cancelling the installation.
Well the installation routine has some probs before but I understand that
this is due to the HD restrictions of NT4 in general.
Installation of all other systems worked quite well (although I get not
netweor connection with Linux 10.0 neither 10.1), 98 or ME was no problem at
all.
"Real" MAchione is a Sony VAIO VGN F28H Laptop, Intel Core Duo, 1GB RAM, OS
is XP MediaCenter 2005.
Any idea?
Best Iris
