Windows XP X64 as Main Drive and XP 32 bit as secondary physical drive

Message:

I read many posts about differnet physical drive and unfortunatley I am
not sure if it answers my question. Therefore, I may be repeating this
questions that has been answered already.

My current configuraton is as follow:

Computer A (New)
Physical Drive C: 320 GB running Win XP x64 (OS Only) in one volume /
one partition
Physical Drive D: 500 GB DATA Only, one volueme / one partition

Computer B (Old)
Physical Drive C: 80GB running Win XP 32 bit (OS Only) in one volume /
one partition

Since, some of my programs are not running on my Win XP x64. I am
thinking of removing my 80GB HD from old computer and inserting in my
new computer.

Then install VPC 2004 and configure 80GB as guest so when I need to
excute programs that do not run on XP x64 then I'll use VPC and run
from the old 80GB drive under XP 32bit.

Now I know there is a way some programs can run under compatibility
mode; however, the programs I am trying to run will not even run in
compatibility mode, which is leading me to this solution.

Is this possible? If so, can someone please provide me a link to KB or
newsgroup where I can read more on it.

Thank you all in advance.
Sanjay
