Help with VPC

Source: microsoft.public.virtualpc

Message:

Here's my problem.

I am running a fresh install of Vista RC1 x86. I am able to install VPC no
problem despite the compability alerts. I am trying to run Windows XP Media
Center in VPC, but am unable to start the installation. It keeps asking me
for boot info, over and over. I have tried the following:

1) Tried mounting ISO of Media Center from hard drive
2) Tried mounting ISO of XP Pro from hard drive
3) Tried using known good burns of both images above (1 on cd 1 on dvd) in
both drives
4) Tried mounting images in Virtual Clone Drive and mounting the image from
VPC

I am at wits end. Is it that I cant run VPC on Vista properly?

I had Windows XP Media Center installed and was running VPC on that, and it
worked like a charm.

Any suggestions?

Ray
