Shared Folders in a Virtual PC

Hi all,

i've tried to set up a VPC on a WinXP Pro (German) host (Thinkpad Notebook).
I installed the vpc additonals and want to use shared folders between the
host and the VPC. In the first step i can see the configured shared folder as
network-folder. When opening the shared folder i always get an explorer
error! Its impossible to open any folders or files in the shared folder. Can
anybody help? Whats wrong?

Thanks for your answer. Now we've tested it on a second pc. There will be the
same procedure. It really looks like a bug. Now we are using the
ms-loopback-adapter and share the folders.

But it looks as the problem is when you try to access a folder with a lot of
files or subfolders - at least thats my experience.

If you need access to a local drive, either share it on the host and make a
real networkdrive in your VPC - or use a looback coonector - look back in
the group for the last solution, I haven't tried it out.
