Wouldn't it be great to have a version of virtualpc that works without instal?
You could take it to work on an usb and use your own version of windows.

A tip to the microsoft guys.

If you have a large pen drive (4GB is usually sufficient) you can transport
the virtual machine folder. However, that requires that you have VPC
installed on the machine at work too. I assume you are restricted from
installing your own software on the work computer but it is free software
and that's the best you can do.
