Hi, I am trying to set up a virtual network consisting of two virtual
machines (Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP). I can install the machines
but cannot join them together in a virtual domain. I am new to Virtual PC
and would greatly appreciate any assistance with this. Thanks

I have tried all combinations of VPC network settings, I am going to strip
back the server (remove all server roles) and start from fresh. I am trying
to set up a Virtual Domain training lab so I can start studying towards my
MCSE so need all the help I can get.

I can now ping between the virtual machines Windows Server 2003 (ip
10.0.0.1) and the client Windows XP (ip 10.0.0.10). I have set up Active
Directory on Windows Server and created the domain (contoso.local), but I
cannot join the client to this domain.

I have tried to set up DNS but when I try to connect the client it cannot
see the domain controller on the domain and fails. I have removed DNS from
the server, any ideas?
