I have been trying to install and setup the Virtual PC software and it has
installed and seems to be working, but is not recognizing the fact that I
have inserted a bootable cd or a startup floppy. I cannot get the system to
allow me a dos prompt to format and setup the virtual drive for an
installation. How do you get it to recognize the floppy or the cd?

I have made an ISO image of the Windows ME CD and have tried to attach to
that with no luck. I still can't get the floppy to boot. What am I missing?

Thanks Colin,
I did use that and tried the reset with both the CD and The floppy, but it
just wouldn't recognize that I had bootable media in them. I did finally put
a bootable cd of KNOPPIX LINUX and it booted right up. Closed it, then tried
to boot from the floppy and it worked. At this point I am not really sure why
but it just wouldn't recognize the hard drive file, and wouldn't recognize
the bootable media from the floppy or the cd. It is running now and I have
finally gotten the Windows ME running in it. Next is one with the Windows
NT....Wish me luck!
