Capture Vista ISO image fails

I am using VPC 2004 SP1.

When I try to capture the Vista RC1 ISO image, I get the following
error message:

"This file does not appear to be a image. CD image files must be
greater than 2MB and a multiple of 2K in size."

The ISO image has the correct MG5 checksum and works perfectly in
VMWare Server.

Does VPS 2004 not support DVD images?

An alternative is to download Virtual Server 2005 R2 (free) from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserversystem/virtualserver/software/default.mspx
and use it to create the Vista VM. It is not as intuitive to use, but very
effective. Once created, simply use the .vhd file when making a new vm
under VPC and it will run just fine. The emulated optical drive in Virtual
Server can handle 4GB dvd .iso files just fine.

VS and VPC share a couple of files, so installing VS and VPC on the same
computer has the benefit of providing more recent versions of these shared
files to VPC even if you wind up not using VS much.
