Unable to connect Virtual PC to internet

Hi All,

I have 4 Virtual PC 2004 machines each with an OS of Windows 2003 Server.
The host machine OS is Windows 2003. Currently, the host machine can connect
to the internal network. But, the Virtual PC cannot. The network says I
have limited or no connectivity. Also, when I open a command prompt and type
"ipconfig", I see an IP address and a subnet. But, no DNS nor default
gateway.

Another person setup the initial machine and then copied it 3 times to
create the 3 other Virtual PC's. He initially was able to connect to the
internal network. But, when I start a single Virtual PC, I am unable to see
the network.

Any help would be appreciated.

on what's been copied, you probably have duplicate Windows SIDs and
MAC addresses.

Does the original VM work if it's the only one running? Are you
joined to a domain? What Network setting do you have selected for the
VMs?

The lab the host machine is in uses static IP Addresses. I have the correct
info, but I still am unable to connect to the network or the internet. I
know the host machine has an ISA Firewall client. I attempted to disable
that, but that was not the solution.

If I use shared networking, I am able to get out to the internet. But, the
internal network I want to be in.

Thoughts?
