Message:I guess they are not because I am getting this error. I did make a bootable
WinXP CD with Roxio but that did not work either. I then just went and made a
bootable floppy and VPC booted up from it. Any other ideas? Shouldnt it
recognize my valid XP Pro CD's? Is there any place I can get a working XP Pro
OS to load on VPC?
TIA

Message:Hi,
Are the OS discs bootable?
Make sure the disc is mounted: Right click the CD icon in the lower left
hand corner of the VM window, and if you have a CD in the drive make sure
"Use physical drive <letter>:" is selected. Then press right-alt and R to
reset the machine. It should boot off of the disc, assuming the disc is
bootable

Message:not all XP discs are bootable, especially if you made a copy of your retail
CD.
look in Google on how to make your CD bootable.
