Hi
I tried Virtual PC for the first time today and as I tried to install a game
on my virtual PC and it didnt work properly because of non-supported
3D-Device i wanted to know if Virtual PC 2004 supports Graphic Card emulation
with at least 32MB?
If this is possible how should I configure the program so it works properly?

No. The emulated S3Trio card is the only one you can use. It uses 4MB of
video ram, 8MB with additions installed. It is not capable of 3D drawing.

I was wondering the same thing, I have a nvidia 7600 Xfx card with 256 mb
ram, this is sufficent to share it between the host and virtual pc, any
chance you guys write a "more performace graphics card" simulation? like
perhaps a ge-force 5 or 6 series? / ati in future?
It's just i was hoping I could run 1 game on the host and another game on
the virtual pc, but with 8 mb virtual ram,, well ...

or is there perhaps anyyyy way around it and increase the virtual ram?
pluging, registry tweak? ANYthing at all??

There are no plans to offer another emulated card. If you need to make any
decisions based on the possibility of some future enhancement in this area,
don't.

appears to be only useful for running older opsys like dos, win95-98 & 2000,
and perhaps some versions of Linux.Too bad as it would have made a really
geat backwards compatable test bed for various software. Imagine if they had
made it so you could select the processor or the graphics card to see how
different programs would run. Instead I still have to have an old P1 - III
sitting around with different vidieo cards in them. Too bad

Depending on the amount of ram and the processor on your computer, XP should
run just fine.
