Local admin rights needed to start virtual machine?

Installed VPC 2004 SP1 on a machine yesterday being logged in as a local
administrator. Created a virtual machine.

Then I logged of and logged in as a "normal" user -
when I then tried to start the virtual image I always got an error like:
"Virtual PC was unable to register this virtual machine configuration file".

Does that mean that I need to be logged in as a local administrator to use
VPC??

Any help appreciated.

Shame on me - did check the folder but not the files.

Since they have been copied over from the user folder of the admin account,
rights had not been assigned on the files.
