Message:After capturing the image do a Reset from the Action Menu to reboot. That
should boot the system with Ubuntu.

Message:Soundcard and Game Controller. The SB16 emulated card. It will not affect
installation in any way but you will have to manually detect the card with
Ubuntu and then configure it with the settings listed in the VPC Help for
"emulated devices". One thing you are going to run into is that Ubuntu will
come up in 24Bit color depth which is not supported in VPC. The result will
be an unusable screen. You will have to change the configuration file
according to the Extra Notes for Ubuntu on
http://vpc.visualwin.com/.
If this is something you don't want to mess with, the other major distros
all work fine. SuSE 10.0 is the most trouble free. 10.1 seems to have a
keyboarding issue for some folks.

Message:Dreetn:
I've got Ubuntu Linux 6.06LT (desktop version) running under Virtual PC 2004
SP1 and Virtual Server 2005 R2. Sounds like you might have a corrupt ISO
file. Try burning the ISO to a CD and check the CD to make sure it
boots...todd

Message:The error messages he refers to are normal for many Linux distros.
