No. The SB16 sound card is an emulation of an ISA card. ISA is not
supported in Vista. The device is not detected by Vista and cannot be
mounted.

If there is to be sound in a Vista guest it will have to be in a future
version of VPC.

You could access Vista via the terminal service from your host OS. This
gives you Sound via the RDP protocol.
