Problem with finding my CD installation

Hello,

I have my Virtual PC installed to a Windows XP Pro machine as host machine.
I then try to install a Virtual Machine with Windows ME CD. At the point,
the Virtual Machine displays "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or insert
Boot Media in selected Boot device", I insert my Windows ME installation CD
to my computer, then press ENTER.

But the Virtual Machine displays the same "Reboot and Select......" message
after I press ENTER each time without start the installation process.

Please tell me what do I done wrong. By the way my machine is a DELL
desktop with a LITE-ON COMBO CD drive about 1 year old. The Windows ME CD is
a genuine Microsoft CD.
